Who is this guy?

Richard Olson was born in 1950 in Seattle, where he has lived all his life. He moved to Bothell in the early '90s.

His three loves in life are his wife Susan, making jewelry and digging rocks. Jewelry played an important part in his education. As far back as junior high school, he was making wedding rings for his teachers.

He prides himself in the fact that to this day he works at a jeweler's bench that his father built for him when he was fourteen years old. For about fifteen years, he has had a shop here in downtown Bothell called OlsonDesign where he personally designs and manufactures jewelry.
